Caregiving Youth are children and adolescents (under 18 years old) who provide significant assistance, often on a regular basis, to relatives or household members who need help because of physical or mental illness, disability, frailty associated with aging, substance misuse, or other condition.
AACY is the only organization in the U.S. dedicated solely to addressing caregiving youth issues.
