For the Adversitology Book Tour, instead of just doing media (TV/radio/print/podcasts) and bookstores, we will immerse ourselves within the homeless population in each city.
We will assume the demeanor and live the circumstance of the unhoused at every tour stop to help those who are trying to overcome the ultimate adversity – homelessness.
Yes, we will hold cardboard signs, stay with the population in homeless camps, at parks, and under bridges. We will see where the heart of America is when it comes to the lowly, marginalized, invisible, poor and downtrodden.
After our immersion we will emerge at homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, women’s facilities, veteran’s facilities, hospitals, juvenile detention centers, and treatment centers to deliver the message of hope found in Adversitology: Overcoming Adversity When You’re Hanging on by a Thread.
We will also deliver donations, gift cards, and books to individuals at these facilities and to the organizations who care for them.
If you know of homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, women’s facilities, veteran’s facilities, hospitals, juvenile detention centers, and treatment centers in the cities referenced below that you think would benefit from an Adversitology Book Tour stop, please call Carli Brinkman at 561.308.3683 or email her at cb@carlipr.com so we can add them!
