Frank McKinney Back in Haiti Battling Cholera

01 June 2011

To date, with our recent June 1 shipment, our Caring House Project Foundation has sent 430 biological water filters to Haiti, now dispensing over 43,000 gallons of clean drinking water a day in hopes of saving thousands from dying of cholera. Thanks you for your support, yet our efforts are not finished!

Those 430 filters have really started to pay off, yet the death toll has yet to stabilize, and we need your help!

What is Caring House Project Foundation doing, and
how can you help? As you know, we don’t waste time…
We have secured access to hundreds more biological water filters (2.5′ tall/1.5′ around – think office water cooler) that operate via gravity, without the need for electricity. Each unit produces nearly 100 gallons of clean drinking water a day, removing 99.8% of all parasites.
Our first 430 filters were distributed to the Artibonite Valley, the epicenter of the outbreak. As you may have heard on the news, the disease has spread to the capital city of Port au Prince, and to a suburb where CHPF built a village a few years ago; Cite Soleil.
Remember: Compassion without action is a waste of emotion…
Cite Soleil’s poorest of the poor will be the recipients of our next shipment of filters.
If you helped in any way before, thank you. If you haven’t, or would like to answer one of life’s great “Tap Moments” please consider donating $90today for each water filter system so Caring House Project Foundation can purchase additional filters.
As before, this is an unbudgeted undertaking:

I, and those suffering from the disease would greatly appreciate your support.
