Frank McKinney’s National Survival to Thrival Tour – Want to Join?
01 December 2011More than 46 million people in the United States live in poverty and go to bed hungry every night. A million have no bed at all – more than 3% of the U.S. population lives on its streets!
Citizens are on edge. More people want to “occupy” Wall Street than want to occupy their homes with underwater mortgages. Will there be a “lost generation?” Will there be anything left for the “greatest generation” to live on?
Is there a way to move from desperation to aspiration? Away from the negativity that permeates the airwaves and toward belief in self and causes greater than one?
Frank McKinney believes there is!
The acclaimed “real estate artist” and his Caring House Project Foundation, known for building entire self-sustaining villages in the poorest parts of Haiti, are now embarking on a tour of the United States, visiting soup kitchens, homeless shelters and food pantries January 16 to February 8, 2012.
In a first-ever “Frank McKinney’s Survival-to-Thrival Tour,” they’ll be spending time directly assisting the people they meet, as well as making significant donations to care-giving organizations that catch Americans when they fall.
Most intriguing, McKinney will be hosting a unique and life-(ex)changing home swap for one night in each city!

From January to February, real estate artist and philanthro-capitalist Frank McKinney will traverse the country in a tour bus (see photo in the video above), stopping at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries to give aspirational talks on how all of us, including the most desperately poor and homeless, can move from survival to thrival.
McKinney’s Caring House Project Foundation will make significant donations to each of the soup kitchens, homeless shelters and food pantries hosting him.
How significant?
At least $25 for each person who attends his talk: if 200 show up, then $5,000 goes to the kitchen/shelter, and if it’s 400, then $10,000, and so on.
In addition, individuals who have fallen on hard times will be givendirect financial assistance along the way.
Please support Frank’s efforts by donating $0.01, $0.10, or $1.00 per mile of the Survival to Thrival Tour via the donate buttons above.
Most unique, McKinney will change places with one individual or family at each stop on the Survival to Thrival Tour. He’ll stay on the streets or at the shelter while another stays at his hotel or in his tour bus for the night.
Why?
To show how close most of us are to both scenarios, either to losing what we have, or to taking the first step necessary for getting back on our feet and thriving in this great country.
USA Today crowned McKinney the “king of ready-made dream homes,” and The Wall Street Journal hailed him as a “real-estate rock czar” because he is the creative force behind some of the world’s most magnificent mansions, shattering price records with each new project.
Making real estate markets where others fear to tread, McKinney is a true maverick with a charming flair, without peer in the risky world of speculative high-end real estate.
A five-time international bestselling author, McKinney’s newest release, “The Tap“, explains what moved him to undertake the Survival to Thrival Tour this winter.
“When we were establishing our 2012 Program of Work for the foundation,” he remembers, ‘I was ‘tapped’ by the epiphany that, while we will certainly continue with our work in Haiti, so many people need emergency assistance right here in the U.S.A., including those agencies who represent a lifeline for millions of Americans.”
Combining his spiritual highest calling with his personal and professional activities is integral to McKinney’s success, and he believes it’s the key to others’ success, as well. This is a primary message found in his books, particularly “The Tap,” and a core principle he’ll be sharing during his aspirational talks at the shelters, kitchens and pantries.
In 1998 he founded the Caring House Project Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and a self-sustaining existence for homeless families in South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Indonesia, and here in the United States. CHPF started domestically by purchasing run-down single-family homes, refurbishing them, then renting to elderly homeless people for $1 per month.
Since its inception, CHPF has provided shelter to more than 7,500 homeless men, women and children around the globe, and in 2012 the focus will be right here in the United States with Frank McKinney’s Survival-to-Thrival Tour.
At this time of year, when many are looking for meaningful gifts, why not donate $0.01, $0.10, or $1.00 per mile in support of Frank’s Survival to Thrival Tour? Please pass this along to your friends and encourage their support of Frank!
