Here is a short excerpt from the Survival to Thrival Tour page:
What:
• Stopping at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars on this tour
• Hosting life-(ex)changing home swaps: Frank sleeps under a bridge or at a shelter while a homeless family stays at his hotel or in his custom tour bus
• Distributing countless gift cards to the most needy
• Delivering Frank’s 20-minute aspirational message to all who need or want to hear it at each stop
• Changing thousands of lives along the way!
Why:
Because many have lost everything, and are about to lose the most important thing – HOPE!
Through his Survival To Thrival Tour, Frank will return hope, spark determination and deliver financial relief to families who are homeless around the nation, while at the same time donating significant sums of money to homeless shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries that host him.
Acclaimed real estate “artist,” bestselling author and philanthro-capitalist Frank McKinney plans to make his unique tour of the United States from January 16 to February 8, 2012; stopping in 16 cities to give financial assistance and aspirational talks on how all of us, including the most desperately poor and homeless, can move from survival to thrival.
Frank’s charity, the Caring House Project Foundation, will make significant donations to every shelter that will be hosting him. This is all part of Frank’s desire to help people move from desperation to aspiration.
This five-time bestselling author explains in his newest release, “The Tap” (www.The-Tap.com), what moved him to undertake the ‘Survival to Thrival Tour’ this winter.

Here is how your donation will be distributed, and how you can join Frank as a VI”T” – Very Important Thrivalist.
As we stop in each of the 16 homeless shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries Frank will give a short aspirational talk on how all of us, including the most desperately poor and homeless, can move from survival to thrival.
After Frank’s talk, CHPF will pool your contributions to make significant donations to each of the homeless shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries that we visit. Funding for these important care-givers has been cut significantly.
How significant a donation will CHPF make at each stop?
At least $25 for each person who attends Frank’s talk: if 200 show up, then $5,000 goes to the shelter/kitchen, and if it’s 400, then $10,000, and so on. There is no cost to attend Frank’s tour events or talks.
In addition, individuals who have fallen on hard times will be given direct financial assistance along the way in the form of gift cards.
Most unique, Frank will change places with one individual or family at each stop on the Survival to Thrival Tour. He’ll stay on the streets or at the shelter while another stays at a hotel or in our tour bus for the night. Your donation will help pay for a homeless family or person to stay off the street for a least one night!
Why is Frank staying under a bridge or at a homeless shelter?
To show how close many of us are to both scenarios, either to losing what we have, or to taking the first step necessary for getting back on our feet and thriving in this great country.
Now, here’s how you can join Frank on tour and become a VI”T” or Very Important Thrivalist:
