Ranks up there in my Top 10 Life Experiences, and I have had a few…
31 January 2012Into the start of our 3rd week of the Survival to Thrival Tour, and I have a little down time today to catch up with you. While it’s still too early to summarize the impact the Tour has had on me, my team, and certainly the tens of thousands we have come in contact with so far, I can unequivocally tell you that it ranks up there in my top 10 life experiences, and I have had quite a few.
I will be circulating a summary when the tour is over, with some meaningful life lessons you can apply to your life. Until then, I encourage you to take a moment and visit our www.SurvivalToThrivalTour.com page. There you can experience some of the tour for yourself by clicking on the impactful videos to the left; “TV News Features,” and just below those; “Frank’s Own Words”. Or just watch the still photo slideshow on the same page.
The videos are each very short, 2-4 minutes. The “TV News Features” are just that, stories told by the media. The others; “Frank’s Own Words,” are summary videos as we leave each homeless shelter. Each summary video is as different as the shelter we stayed at.
A TV reporter asked : “Frank, are you doing this tour to raise awareness for the homeless?” I responded; “Awareness? Who doesn’t know about homelessness in America? I am here to do something about it!”
Here are 3 ways to support our effort, as we still have 6 cities to go: donate $0.01, $0.10, or $1.00 per mile of the Survival to Thrival Tour. If you would prefer to give over the phone, call 561.722.3950, or mail your tax deductible donation to Caring House Project, P.O. Box 388, Boynton Beach, FL 33425.
Again, to learn more about what we are doing and why, visit the Survival to Thrival Tour link above. Also on that link is a tour map with all 16 cities. Am I coming to a city near you? If so, come out and say hello. I would love to see you!
